About The Frugal Green Thumb

Dear Readers,

Thank you for visiting my site. I hope that you enjoy your visit, and that you will find something useful, or at least fun, while you are here.

The Frugal Green Thumb is primarily a place where I can publicly share stories about my gardening obsession and general love of dirt. Most posts will contain frugal, organic gardening or sustainable living tips for my readers. From time to time, blog posts will also cover related topics, such as steps my family and I take to avoid GMOs and dangerous chemicals in everyday products.

Occasionally, my blog will also feature guest posts from friends and other writers that wish to share their sustainable living stories. These stories have a very diverse range: from adventures in their garden to steps they've taken to pare down their lives and live a simpler, less materialistic lifestyle.

It is my hope that by sharing our stories with one another, we can help one another grow more bountiful gardens and live more abundant lives in general, while also reducing our consumption.

If there are particular gardening or sustainable living topics that you, the reader, would like to see on the site, help me to help you. Be certain to leave suggestions and feedback in the comments section on the site's blog posts.

I enjoy receiving feedback from my readers, and I believe in the importance of having open lines of communication and open venues for discussion. I do ask that those who post comments on the site to please refrain from personal attacks, especially vulgarity, and to keep any conversations and discussions respectful and tolerant of one another. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in this regard.

I generally dislike advertising, but, I also enjoy being able to keep the internet and electricity going at my home, so I have recently monetized the site with affiliate links.

Disclosure Note: The links to products on The Frugal Green Thumb website are “affiliate links.” What this means is that if you click on one of these links and purchase one of the items advertised in the link, I will be paid and receive a teeny, tiny, infinitesimally small commission

Please don't feel pressured to click on a link and purchase something while you are here. If, however, you do see an ad for something that catches your eye and otherwise tickles your fancy enough to encourage you to click and buy, you do have my sincerest thanks and appreciation.

Thanks again for visiting my site. I wish you an abundant day full of peace and productive gardening!
